Petroperú implements preventive plan for Coastal El Niño 2026
Petroperú strengthens its prevention and response plans in national operations in anticipation of the Coastal El Niño Phenomenon during 2026. The company implements a specific plan for each operational facility, which includes planning for crude oil and input supply, technical inspections of critical infrastructure, preventive maintenance of drainage systems, and verification of essential equipment. Additionally, it will hold coordination meetings with regional governments, municipalities, and state entities to identify risks and define joint prevention actions.
