APM Terminals Begins Modernization of Callao's North Pier with US$570 Million Investment

APM Terminals Callao began phase 3B modernization work on the North Pier on June 26, with an investment of US$570 million. According to José Carlos Maia, Project Director, annual capacity will increase from 1.3 million to 1.75 million containers and from 13.5 million to 18 million tons. The works will conclude in 2030, divided into two phases of two years each.
