The Panama Canal and PortMiami Renew Cooperation Agreement
The Panama Canal and PortMiami renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for an additional five-year period, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening connectivity and promoting international trade. The Canal Administrator, Ricaurte Vásquez Morales, and PortMiami's Global Trade Director, Eric Olafson, signed the extension to the original agreement, which has been in effect since 2003. The memorandum involves joint marketing activities, information exchange, market analysis, and training.
