Fesco Transport Group and the Chinese company SIPG Logistics, a subsidiary of Shanghai International Port Group, have agreed to develop cooperation in container shipping between Russia and China, including through the Port of Shanghai.
The document provides for the development of cooperation in international container shipping, freight forwarding services, intermodal logistics, as well as the joint development of new logistics solutions and promising routes between Russia and China.
For Fesco, the expansion of its collaboration with SIPG Logistics opens new opportunities for the development of container shipping through the Port of Shanghai, one of China's main logistics centers and a vital hub for international trade. Regular maritime services pass through the port: the direct FESCO China line, which connects Chinese ports with Vladivostok, and the FESCO Baltic line, which connects China's maritime terminals with St. Petersburg.
SIPG Logistics is part of Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG), which manages the world's largest container port, Shanghai. The company specializes in container shipping, port and warehousing logistics, international freight forwarding, multimodal transport, and integrated supply chain management.
