Singaporean Tycoon Takes Leave After Being Accused by US of Restricting Container Supply
Teo Siong Seng, CEO of Singamas Container Holdings, has requested a leave of absence from his positions after being accused by the United States of conspiring to restrict the supply of containers between November 2019 and January 2024. The Department of Justice accuses four Chinese companies of approximately doubling the prices of standard containers between 2019 and 2021, violating the Sherman Antitrust Act.
