Maersk incorporates new container ship ready to operate with alternative fuels
Shipping company Maersk received the container ship "Tema Maersk", designed to operate with methanol and compatible with ethanol, as part of its decarbonization strategy. The 9,000 TEU vessel is part of a series of six container ships and integrates a state-of-the-art engine developed by WinGD. The naming ceremony took place at the Yangzijiang Shipbuilding shipyard in China.
