Ministers' Committee Ratifies Environmental Approval of Copiaport-E in Copiapó
The Ministers' Committee of the Environmental Assessment System (SEA) rejected the appeals against the Copiaport-E port project, maintaining the favorable Environmental Qualification Resolution granted in September 2025. The port complex in Copiapó includes a Clean Bulk Terminal with an annual capacity of 10 million tons, a Multipurpose Terminal for 300,000 TEU/year, with an investment of USD 450 million and 24 months of construction. The project will have a useful life of 50 years.
