More than 1,500 Young People Transform Communities Through the Latin American Citizen Action Laboratory
The Latin American Citizen Action Laboratory (LLAC), an initiative of the Panama Canal and Jóvenes Unidos por la Educación (Youth United for Education), has graduated more than 1,500 young leaders in seven years. During 2026, the program ran two modalities: LLAC 1.0 with 150 participants and LLAC 2.0 with 146, generating 37 social transformation projects in education, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion.
