American Cruise Lines Introduces Two New Small Ships, Maverick and Encore

American Cruise Lines welcomed American Maverick to its fleet with a christening ceremony in Newport Harbor, Rhode Island. Maverick is the second ship ACL added in 2026, joining American Encore which debuted in May. The 130-passenger Maverick features all-private balcony staterooms across four decks, while American Encore accommodates 180 passengers with a four-story glass atrium. The cruise line plans to launch American Ranger, American Mariner and American Navigator within the next year.
