Changes in Swan Hellenic's commercial leadership continue.
Gordon Dirker returned to the company, this time as SVP Americas, while Jennifer Zammit was hired as senior director, Canada sales, and Jane Martin as sales director, national host accounts across the United States.
Previously Dirker was VP sales, North America, for a nine-month stint starting in 2022. Most recently he's been GM of Cruise Norway, a specialist in small-ship expeditions worldwide. Prior roles were with Celestyal Cruises, Hurtigruten, TTC Group and Clipper Vacations.
Dirker will report to Chief Commercial Officer Mario Bounas and lead regional sales strategy, trade partnerships and business development.
Bounas, who took over as chief commercial officer at Swan Hellenic in May, succeeding Patrizio Iantorno, said: "We are sure the return of Gordon, who knows our product so well already, will be instrumental for us to regain in North America the leading position we have in other markets."
As senior sales director for Canada, Toronto-based Zammit will focus on developing strategic travel trade partnershps. She brings extensive experience in luxury travel and trade partnerships including serving as key account manager, Canada at Rocky Mountaineer. Other commercial roles were at Huntington Travel Group and Globus Family of Brands.
Martin is responsible for managing host agencies, consortia relationships and national account development across the US. She brings experience from senior roles at Keytours Vacations, Norwegian Cruise Line, Apple Vacations and Delta Air Lines.
In other Swan Hellenic changes of recent months, Kelly Predmesky, who was director of key and national accounts, left to become head of sales, North America for Mitsui Ocean Cruises.
And Carlos Garzon, who was VP global sales, a newly created role, left in May after a year with Swan Hellenic. He had reported to Iantorno.
