Patrick Mitchell, who's served as SVP global sales for the past year, left The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
"We're grateful for his leadership and contributions during his time with the organization and wish him continued success in his next chapter," the company said in a statement.
"Our global sales organization remains well positioned, with strong momentum across key markets and an experienced leadership team in place," the statement continued. "... We look forward to welcoming a new leader who will support the ongoing strength and growth of our global sales organization, while reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences at sea."
In the interim, the global sales leadership team will report directly to Ernesto Fara, president and CEO.
Based in the company's Fort Lauderale office, Mitchell was responsible for global sales strategy and execution, defining a unified sales vision and identifying opportunities for growth and synergy.
He signed on with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection after holding senior roles at Club Med, Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean, Before joining Ritz-Carlton, Mitchell had been VP global brand and e-commerce at hospitality company Sonder.
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection recently reported strong first quarter improvement and closed on a refinancing that included a $167m equity injection from shareholders and approximately $171m in deferred amortization from lenders.
