The MSC Meraviglia will return to the United Kingdom in 2028 for a second season serving the British market.
According to a press release, the 2017-built vessel will offer 21 cruises departing from the Port of Southampton.
MSC said that the deployment includes itineraries to the Norwegian Fjords, Northern Europe, France, Spain, Portugal, the Canary Islands and Morocco.
The company noted that the operation allows guests to start their vacations in the United Kingdom, with no flights needed.
Other highlights of the deployment include a special seven-night cruise to the British Isles sailing on June 10, 2028.
The soccer-themed sailing will visit Cherbourg, Cork, Liverpool, Belfast and Greenock, giving guests the chance to follow the Football Championship at sea.
MSC said that the cruise will feature special entertainment throughout the voyage, with the games streamed live on the ship.
Replacing the MSC Virtuosa, which currently sails from the port, the MSC Meraviglia is set to take over the itineraries from Southampton in 2027.
For its first season sailing from the British port, the vessel is scheduled to offer six- to 14-night cruises to Northern Europe and the Norwegian Fjords.
In addition to the two ships, MSC will also deploy the MSC Preziosa in the United Kingdom for the upcoming winter season.
Sailing in Northern Europe on a year-round basis, the 2013-built ship will offer cruises that also sail from Southampton between late October 2026 and April 2027.
The vessel's regular itinerary sails to France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.
The vessel is scheduled to offer similar itineraries during the 2027-28 winter season, with departures from Southampton scheduled between October 2027 and April 2028.
