The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries (MAGP) continues to strengthen 32 strategic agro-productive chains with the aim of expanding Ecuador's exportable supply and generating new opportunities for producers. This initiative is part of the 2025-2034 Agricultural Public Policy, aimed at increasing the sector's competitiveness and consolidating the presence of Ecuadorian products in international markets.
The strategy includes training actions, technical assistance, knowledge transfer, promotion of good agricultural practices, and strengthening of productive organizations. According to official data, products such as broccoli, pineapple, cocoa, and coconut recorded growth in their export volumes between 2024 and 2025, reflecting greater productive and commercial dynamism in several agricultural chains prioritized by the Government.
The strengthening of the agro-exportable supply contributes to diversifying the country's export matrix and generating greater international trade opportunities. Likewise, the increase in exported volumes boosts the demand for logistics services, land and sea transport, as well as port activity linked to the movement of agricultural products to the main destination markets.
