ITI Installs State-of-the-Art Tide Gauge in Iquique to Improve Operations

Iquique Terminal Internacional has incorporated a tide gauge into its maritime monitoring system to optimize the management of port operations. The equipment, installed at a depth of 21 meters, provides real-time information on wave height and direction, pressure, tide level, currents, and temperature. It includes a UV light that prevents the adherence of marine flora, ensuring the quality of data available to the Maritime Authority.
