Valenciaport promotes the use of marine renewable energies
The Port Authority of Valencia (APV) is advancing its commitment to sustainability through the European project Renmarinas Demos, aimed at promoting research and development of marine renewable energies. Valenciaport tendered the design, supply, and installation of two electrical energy evacuation systems with a budget of close to USD 2 million and an 11-month deadline. The initiative, financed by the European Union through IDAE, promotes offshore wind, wave, tidal, and other renewable solutions applied to the maritime environment.
