Contecon Manzanillo Expands Capacity and Reduces Emissions
Contecon Manzanillo reached 12 million accumulated TEUs and incorporated 60-meter STS cranes, the tallest in America, capable of serving vessels up to 400 meters in length. With an accumulated investment of 900 million dollars, the terminal reduced more than 50% of emissions through hybrid RTG cranes and has ISO 14064 Carbon Neutral certification. During the first quarter of 2026, it operated 417,191 TEUs, a volume 7.9% higher than the same period of the previous year.
