TPG Reaches 2,200 Hours of Training with Latest Generation Port Simulators
Guayaquil Port Terminal (TPG), operated by Hanseatic Global Terminals, accumulated over 1,000 hours of training for reachstacker operators and more than 1,200 hours for STS and RTG cranes in 2026 using state-of-the-art simulators. According to General Manager Luisenrique Navas, these pieces of equipment faithfully reproduce real port conditions without interrupting commercial operations. The simulators, developed by the Finnish company Mevea, optimize productivity and generate energy savings.
