U.S. Energy Secretary Says Ship Traffic Through Hormuz Increasing 'Meaningfully'
U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright stated on Tuesday that ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is rising "very meaningfully" despite ongoing tensions between Washington and Tehran. Wright noted that oil exports through the strait and the Gulf have increased and will continue to rise. He added that it would take many months to restore normal flows of energy and critical materials such as sulfur, helium and lubricants once lasting peace is achieved.
