Maersk applies emergency fuel surcharge on Nordic inland shipments
Maersk announced an emergency inland fuel and energy surcharge on all Store Door shipments across the Nordic region effective July 01st, 2026, due to fuel supply blockage in the Middle East. The surcharge varies by country: Denmark 1%, Sweden 2%, Finland 4%, Estonia 5%, Lithuania 1%, while Norway and Latvia apply 0%. Electric truck and rail solutions remain unaffected. Percentages will be updated weekly based on evolving conditions.
