LCT, the giant that wants to redefine the Mexican Pacific
Hutchison Ports LCT, with 23 years of operations in Lázaro Cárdenas, is driving its third phase of expansion to consolidate itself as a logistics platform in the Mexican Pacific. The terminal, which handles over 1.5 million TEUs annually, will expand from 76 to more than 100 hectares, reach almost 1,500 meters of dock, and incorporate autonomous and state-of-the-art RTG cranes. According to Manuel García Gordillo, general manager, the project responds to operational pressure and the need to offer an alternative to Manzanillo's congestion.
