Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, AD Ports Group to develop Al Selmiyyah Defence Industrial Free Zone
Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement and AD Ports Group announced a strategic partnership to develop Al Selmiyyah Defence Industrial Free Zone in Abu Dhabi. The zone will serve as a strategic hub for defence manufacturing, designed to attract leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and enable localisation of production. Under the partnership, Tawazun will develop regulatory and licensing frameworks while AD Ports Group will lead master planning and provide industrial zone development expertise to support phased delivery and connectivity to regional and global trade networks.
