APN Grants Port Authorization for USD 540 Million Project to Build First Green Hydrogen Terminal in Peru
The APN granted Port Authorization to Horizonte de Verano SAC to build the first green hydrogen terminal in Peru, located in Majes, Arequipa. The comprehensive USD 540 million project includes two single-buoy moorings, cryogenic ammonia storage, and a desalination plant. It will produce green hydrogen and ammonia using solar and wind energy, with operations expected to begin by the end of 2029.
