Thirty Companies Express Interest in Participating in the Mardones Terminal Expansion Project

Empresa Portuaria Austral (Epaustral) reported that 35 companies, 29 national and 6 international, have expressed interest in participating in the project "Improvement of the Berthing Capacity of the José de los Santos Mardones Dock". The process aims to pre-select contractors for the future tender of works, with awarding projected for the second half of 2026. Epaustral is also working in parallel with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to obtain a long-term loan backed by the guarantee of the State of Chile.
