Port of Helsinki Begins Lj6 Pier Renovation for 23.9 Million Euros

The Port of Helsinki announced the renovation of Lj6 pier at the West substation through a contract with Terrame Oy for 23.9 million euros. Construction work will begin in July 2026 and conclude in 2028, including the demolition of the existing pier, dredging, manufacturing of new sections, and installation of equipment. The project will be carried out during normal operations of Finland's busiest passenger port.
