U.S. & Canada Emergency Intermodal Fuel Surcharge Implementation Inland Rail Ramps and Container Yards – Imports only
Maersk announced an increase in emergency intermodal fuel surcharges effective June 1, 2026. Import shipments through inland rail ramps or container yards in the U.S. or Canada will face a surcharge of $200 USD per dry container and $250 USD per reefer container unit, which includes a previously announced genset-related adjustment.
