Port Security: Port of Barcelona Addresses Challenges of Energy Transformation
The Port of Barcelona hosted a conference on security and resilience in port facilities with fifty professionals from the sector. Organized by SGS in collaboration with the port and Salvamento Marítimo de Barcelona, the event emphasized the importance of periodically updating Self-Protection Plans. The energy transition was the central theme, highlighting the need for specific prevention plans for photovoltaic installations, electric vehicles, and methanol, ammonia, and hydrogen plants.
