Report Speculates US or NATO Sank Russian Ship Carrying Nuclear Equipment
CNN reported that the Russian heavy-lift cargo ship Ursa Major, which sank off Spain in December 2024, may have been carrying nuclear reactor components to North Korea. Based on leaked Spanish investigation data, CNN speculates the vessel was attacked by a Barracuda supercavitating torpedo or limpet mine. The ship was 9,500 dwt and 142 meters in length, and 14 crewmembers survived while two died in the engine room.
