On June 5th, the Port of Rio de Janeiro welcomed 15 students from the Finance and Foreign Trade course at the Corporación Universitaria Empresarial de Salamanca (UniSalamanca) in Colombia.
The visit was led by port technician Ernesto Brito and began with an institutional presentation on the port's infrastructure, cargo handling, its logistical and economic relevance, and the strategic role played by the Port of Rio de Janeiro in Brazilian foreign trade.
Following this, the students visited the Operational Control Center (CCO) and toured the port facilities, expanding their knowledge of the dynamics of port operations.
The itinerary also included a visit to the MultiRio container terminal, where the group was welcomed by Planning Manager Sandro Fellipe and Commercial Assistant Juliana Hernandes.
This initiative contributes to the academic development of the participants by providing a practical experience, strengthening the connection between the university environment and the port sector.
