On June 9, PortosRio held a lecture on Moral Harassment, Sexual Harassment, and Discrimination at the Rio de Janeiro Port Auditorium, led by the company's Itinerant Group.
The event was aimed at holders of commissioned positions - superintendents, managers, secretaries, and advisors - and also included the optional participation of employees in trusted positions.
The lecture addressed topics related to PortosRio's Policy for the Prevention and Confrontation of Harassment and Discrimination, reinforcing the company's commitment to promoting an ethical, respectful, safe, and inclusive work environment.
The presentation was led by representatives from different areas involved in receiving, preventing, and investigating cases related to the topic: Roberta Carvalhaes, from the General Ombudsman's Office; Vladimir Siqueira, from the Gender, Equity, and Diversity Committee; Suzana Padilla, from the Ethics Committee; and Joana Costa and Débora Isola, members of the Technical Committee for Correctional Investigation of Harassment (CTACA), representing the Internal Affairs Office.
During the meeting, the Itinerant Group presented the concepts and characteristics of different types of harassment and discrimination that can occur in the corporate environment, clarified the functioning of the reporting channels available in the company, and detailed the investigation and sanction application flows.
This action is part of a continuous awareness effort developed by PortosRio. In the second half of the year, a new lecture on the topic will be held for all company employees, continuing the training and awareness actions promoted annually since 2022.
