Peru's Mincetur Establishes Provisions for Direct Transport in Trade Agreements

Peru's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), in coordination with the National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat), has established provisions for direct transport in trade agreements. The measures include facilities to accredit direct shipment through letters from international transport companies or freight forwarders, allowing temporary storage in third countries not party to the agreement. Mincetur aims to provide greater clarity and legal certainty to foreign trade operators.
