Kempower and APM Terminals sign a global framework agreement for the supply of charging infrastructure for port terminals
Kempower and APM Terminals signed a three-year framework agreement for the supply of DC fast-charging technology across APM Terminals' global network of container terminals in 35 countries. The first three pilot projects have already been started in APM Terminals Yucatán in Mexico, TM2 in Morocco, and Callao in Peru. The agreement supports APM Terminals' roadmap to decarbonise operations via battery-electric container handling equipment and renewable energy, with the goal of achieving net zero by 2040.
