San Antonio Truckers Propose Fourth Shift to Unblock 42-Hour Conflict
The San Antonio Haulers' Guild Association (Agreportsai) proposed activating a fourth work shift to resolve the conflict at the DP World San Antonio terminal, where the implementation of the 42-hour workday has led to eight to nine hours of production loss. Manuel Araya, president of Agreportsai, noted that the dead times between stops at 4:50 AM and the start of operations at 8:30 or 9:00 AM affect both transporters and port operations.
