Iran Resumes Kharg Island Oil Loadings After US Navy Blockade Lifted
Iran has resumed crude loading from its Kharg island export terminal after a six-week break following the lifting of a US Navy blockade. Three very large crude carriers, each capable of hauling about 2 million barrels, are moored at the Sea Island terminal, according to Bloomberg ship tracking data. The resumption follows an interim peace deal with the US that opens supply lines, with Iran having already moved about 20 million barrels on tankers anchored off Chabahar.
