China-Europe Express Train Journeys Exceed 130,000 Shipments
The China-Europe Express Railway has reached 130,000 journeys, with a total cargo value exceeding 520 billion dollars. According to China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., the service operates 93 scheduled lines at 120 km per hour, connecting 129 Chinese cities with 235 cities in 26 European countries and over 100 cities in 11 Asian nations. Freight rates have fallen by more than 40 percent since its launch.
