USD 2.3 Billion Portfolio Drives Port Modernization in Peru
The Minister of Transport and Communications, Aldo Prieto Barrera, announced that Peru is advancing in the consolidation of modern port infrastructure with investments exceeding USD 2.3 billion. The commissioning of the Chancay Multipurpose Port Terminal marks a new stage for the Peruvian port system. The MTC consolidated a portfolio of projects to expand and modernize seven maritime ports, including Callao, Matarani, Salaverry, and Paita, through the Callao – Chancay logistics hub.
