Port of Barcelona's Total Traffic Increases by 5.8% and Consolidates Growth Started in January

Goods traffic at the Port of Barcelona totaled 23,875,715 tons between January and April 2026, a 5.8% increase compared to the same period last year. Bulk liquids drove these results with a 23.7% increase, notably chemical products (+52.1%) and natural gas (+44.2%). Containers grew by 2.7% and vehicles by 7%, while cruise passengers decreased by -16.1% in April.
