Highways recorded the highest dynamism of the semester, with a valuation of USD 60.8 million, three times more than the same period in 2025 (USD 19.1 million). The impetus came mainly from IIRSA Norte (Paita-Yurimaguas), with USD 19.6 million in accessory works on Section 1: Yurimaguas-Tarapoto, Section 3: Corral Quemado-Rioja and Section 5: Dv. Olmos-Piura, and from IIRSA Sur Section 4 (Azángaro-Inambari), with USD 16.6 million in works for the implementation of electromechanical and safety equipment for the operation of the Ollachea Tunnel, the execution of accessory works for road safety from km 75 to 100 and Phase 2 of the Ollachea Bypass. Road Network 6 (Pucusana-Cerro Azul-Ica) also contributed to the growth with USD 11.5 million in valuations for the Chinchaysullo, Litardo Bajo, San Miguel overpasses and the Bujama Road Interchange.
The airport sector remained the largest in absolute terms in semi-annual investment, with USD 313 million, 73.2% more than in 2025. The progress was practically concentrated in the Jorge Chávez International Airport, whose expansion and improvement works accounted for USD 297.2 million of the sector's total.
Railways and Lima Metro recorded an investment valuation of USD 287.8 million, an amount similar to that achieved in the first half of 2025 (USD 289.6 million). All investments corresponded to the works of Line 2 and Branch 4 of the Lima Metro, and included the acquisition of electromechanical equipment and rolling stock, the execution of tunnels and track superstructure, the installation of ventilation shafts, as well as advances in civil works, architecture, urban insertion and installations of various stations of the network.
The semi-annual valuation of Ports fell 81%, from USD 44.1 million in 2025 to USD 8.4 million in 2026.
In June 2026 alone, concessionaires valued USD 174.5 million, 15.7% more than the USD 150.9 million in June 2025. Accumulated investments reached USD 14,594.9 million, equivalent to 63.61% of the total investment commitment, which amounts to USD 22,944.7 million.
