The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (Promperú) reported that Peruvian exports of various manufactured goods totaled US$6.3 billion in 2025, the best result in the last five years.
Based on this, the entity will hold the 17th edition of Industria Perú 2026 from June 9 to 11, with the goal of continuing to open opportunities for companies in the sector in international markets.
Promperú stated that the result achieved in 2025 represented a growth of 4.1% compared to the previous year and confirmed the dynamism of a sector that maintains a significant presence in markets such as the United States, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Colombia.
"The subsectors with the largest participation were chemical with US$1.9 billion, metallurgical with US$1.8 billion, and metalworking with US$812 million," it noted.
It also stated that progress was observed in markets such as Argentina, Mexico, Panama, and Germany, reflecting a scenario with room to continue diversifying Peru's exportable offerings.
In this context, Industria Perú 2026 will seek to create a specialized commercial space to connect Peruvian exporting companies and those with export potential in the various manufacturing sector with international buyers. The projection for this edition is to reach US$25 million in business opportunities and finalize over 1,000 business meetings, it noted.
It pointed out that the event will bring together approximately 100 Peruvian companies and 90 international buyers from 18 countries.
" Around 95% of the participating Peruvian suppliers are micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. The prioritized lines this year will be packaging, industrial equipment, suppliers for mining and construction, as well as personal care and health," it indicated.
Furthermore, it mentioned that the 2026 edition will include a business round on June 9, a visit to the Expo SNI Industria fair of the National Society of Industries, and visits to more than 35 factories in Lima and Callao, where they can learn about the quality standards and response capacity of the Peruvian offerings.
Industria Perú is Promperú's emblematic commercial promotion activity for the various manufacturing sector and has been held since 2010.
In its 16 previous editions, it has accumulated around 18,900 business meetings, with 2,104 participations from Peruvian companies and 1,805 international buyers, generating business expectations exceeding US$1 billion.
With this new edition Promperú, an entity attached to Mincetur, seeks to continue bringing more Peruvian companies closer to international buyers interested in an industrial offering with greater scope, specialization, and response capacity.
