Worker brigades from the National Port System Administration of Manzanillo (ASIPONA), under the instructions of the agency's General Director, Admiral José Ignacio Moreno Díaz, continue the cleaning and whitewashing work on the Jalipa highway.
During this week's work, sweeping, removal of debris, sediment, and tire collection tasks have continued, clearing that artery of trash and dangerous objects.
These actions are part of the "Manzanillo Limpio Contigo" (Manzanillo Clean With You) Campaign, which ASIPONA has launched to contribute to the improvement of the city and the conurban area.
More than 970 kg of waste such as plastic, glass, and weeds, as well as 200 tires, have been collected and transported to their final destination, with the aim of leaving in the best conditions this road that connects rural communities with the port area and serves as access to the urban area.
ASIPONA maintains its commitment to continue contributing to the well-being of the people of Manzanillo by carrying out activities within the Port-City good relationship project.
