Market Notification – Fuel Surcharge update in Mexico Effective June 1, 2026

Maersk announced a temporary fuel surcharge adjustment effective June 1, 2026, in response to increased fuel costs stemming from the Middle East situation. The surcharge of 3% of inland haulage applies to all inland services and modalities, with monthly review frequency. Surcharges will be displayed on invoices as EFS (Export Fuel Surcharge) and IFS (Import Fuel Surcharge), with different application dates depending on shipment type.
