The Government of the Province of Santa Fe completed its third billet export from the Villa Constitución Free Trade Zone dock. The operation, carried out by the company Acindar, mobilized 1,092 trucks, consolidated the participation of local companies, and allowed for the shipment of 12,600 pieces, equivalent to 30,000 tons of Santa Fe steel, destined for Colombia.
The Provincial Minister of Productive Development, Gustavo Puccini, highlighted that "Santa Fe has more than 30 public and private ports and the only free trade zone in the country with its own dock. This operation demonstrates that our logistical infrastructure is a key advantage over other provinces. We want every ton that goes out to the world to also be an opportunity for the work and competitiveness of our people."
Regarding the differentiating attributes of the infrastructure, Puccini added that "the private dock allows for optimizing times, reducing costs, and articulating the participation of local companies in international scale operations. Four firms from Villa Constitución participated in this export. Today, Santa Fe adds another logistical milestone."
The Secretary of Transportation and Logistics, Mónica Alvarado, stated that "logistics is a state policy in this administration. Breaking the dependence on Buenos Aires and consolidating our terminals and free trade zone allows us to access more than 100 international destinations, reducing times and costs. Santa Fe has all the conditions for its infrastructures to become true gateways to the world."
"The operation from the Villa Constitución dock confirms that Santa Fe has the technical and logistical capacity to sustain large-scale exports. The collaboration with local companies and the movement of more than a thousand trucks show that the provincial infrastructure is prepared to respond to the challenges of foreign trade with efficiency and security," emphasized Mauro Gisbert, head of the Board of Directors of the Santa Fe Free Trade Zone.
