Adnoc Exports Another LNG Shipment Through Hormuz to India
The Umm Al Ashtan, managed by Adnoc Logistics & Services, has exited the Strait of Hormuz loaded with LNG destined for India, according to Bloomberg ship-tracking data. The vessel loaded cargo at Adnoc's Das Island export plant during a signal blackout around May 2. This transit represents a small uptick in energy flows through Hormuz since the Iran war began in late February, when the strait virtually shut to LNG traffic, choking about a fifth of global supply.
