MTC: Jorge Chávez Airport to Connect with Chancay Port to Consolidate Peru as South America's Logistics Hub
The MTC reported that Jorge Chávez International Airport will connect with the Chancay Multipurpose Port Terminal via a logistics corridor with a US$20 million investment, operational before the end of 2026. The "sea-land-air" model aims to transform Lima into a regional center for international cargo distribution from Asia to South America, including a 6,885 square meter warehouse with direct connection to airport operations.
