Ro-Ro Ferry Kissamos Refloats After Running Aground Near Milos
The Greece-flagged Ro-Ro passenger ferry Kissamos refloated after running aground off Milos on 27 June following a temporary loss of propulsion. The vessel was operating its scheduled service from Piraeus to Chania with 1,246 passengers and 108 crew members on board. No injuries or pollution were reported, and the ferry successfully returned to Milos under its own power after the crew restored propulsion.
