EFE and Frutillar advance on details of bimodal cargo service for year-end
The State Railway Company (EFE) and the Municipality of Frutillar held a meeting to finalize details of the new bimodal cargo service that will connect the commune with the ports of the Bio Bio Region. The project plans to transport salmon industry products from the Los Lagos Region, with Frutillar as a collection center. It is estimated that the operation of this center will begin between November and December, continuing the railway pilot developed during 2025.
