Explora Journeys' ship Explora III completes sea trials

Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri has successfully completed sea trials of Explora III, the third vessel in a six-ship series for luxury cruise brand Explora Journeys, following deliveries of Explora I in 2023 and Explora II in 2024. The LNG-powered ship measures 248 metres in length and will accommodate up to 900 guests in 461 oceanfront suites across 14 passenger decks. Explora III will become the first LNG-powered vessel in the brand's fleet, with capability to use bio-LNG and renewable synthetic LNG when commercially available.
