Fuel Surcharge update in France
Maersk announced exceptional fuel surcharge adjustments for France effective from 11th May till 17th May 2026 due to increased fuel costs from the Middle East situation. The carrier will implement weekly reviews instead of monthly ones, with surcharges of 12.1% for truck, 5.5% for rail combined, and 17% for barge and barge combined services. Codes EFS (Export Fuel Surcharge) and IFS (Import Fuel Surcharge) will appear on invoices.
