Anti-narcotics Inspection Conducted Aboard Japanese-Flagged Vessel in Port of Corral
A multi-sectoral team led by the Chilean Navy conducted an anti-narcotics inspection of the Japanese-flagged vessel Daio Austral, docked in the Port of Corral. The operation involved the participation of the Maritime Governorate of Valdivia, the Port Captaincy, Carabineros (Chilean national police), and the National Customs Service, deploying over twenty officials and five K9 units. After the exhaustive review, no narcotics or non-compliance were detected.
