Emerald Astra Christened in Amsterdam
The Emerald Astra, the latest addition to Emerald Cruises & Tours' European fleet, was christened in Amsterdam on May 31, 2026. US travel advisor and entrepreneur Toni Lanotte-Day served as the ship's godmother. Glen Moroney, founder & chairman of Scenic Group, highlighted the vessel's contemporary design and connection to destinations. Ken Muskat, president of Scenic Group USA & LatAm, emphasized the importance of honoring travel advisor partners. The Emerald Lumi is scheduled to debut on the Seine in 2027.
