Hanta: 23 Passengers Allegedly Disembarked from Hondius Before Health Controls
A Spanish passenger reported that 23 guests from the MV Hondius cruise ship disembarked on April 22nd on Saint Helena Island, 10 days after the first death on board, without health monitoring. The Spanish Department of Health confirmed 10 Hanta cases, including a patient admitted to Gómez Ulla Hospital in Madrid. The cruise ship sailed towards the Port of Rotterdam, with an expected arrival on Monday, May 18th.
