Meat Export by Rail: Mexico Boosts Intermodal Transport

Following the approval in October 2025 of origin verification in the United States, Mexico aims to expand meat exports by rail. Ximena Juárez Gómez, director of Senasica, stated that Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) has handled 84 import shipments. The government is working on inspections at inland customs and contacting more railway companies and exporters after three years of negotiation with US authorities.
