MARAD Honors Crew of Stena Immaculate for Response to Allision
The Maritime Administration awarded the crew of the tanker Stena Immaculate its Gallant Ship Award on National Maritime Day, honoring their bravery in responding to an allision with the container feeder Solong on March 10, 2025. The 23 professional mariners saved both their vessel and the majority of cargo after one tank was ruptured and a fire broke out off the Humber Estuary. James C.
